Plastic corners for packaging protect the products from the packaging line

For example, when the products that are packed in cardboard boxes have been placed on the pallets, they are often fixated with filament tape. If it is done loosely, the stack might disintegrate. However, if the filament tape is pulled too tight, it can cut into the stack and damage the goods in the boxes. It is especially likely in case of packaging tapes made from metal.

In order to avoid that from happening, plastic corners will be placed to the corners of the stacks. These corners help to spread the strain by the filament tapes or packaging tapes evenly across the whole side of the stack. The plastic corners also help to keep the stack together.
